God, the world is not easy right now. You are present when evil disguised as greatness
takes control of the hearts and minds of men and women. In trying to be great, people
act small. Jesus came as a baby, endured trials in the wilderness and suffered death on
the cross. Your Holy Spirit was with him in these trials, and you are with us in this
wilderness of hate and lies and despair. Help us seek your truth with every breath.
