North Central Jurisdiction of College Bishops
The United Methodist Church is divided into five jurisdictions within the United States. Indiana is a part of the North Central Jurisdiction, along with the conferences of Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
The North Central Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church serves in the ministry with the congregations and people of the upper Midwest. Every four years the jurisdictional conferences meet to discuss and vote upon new bishop appointments, converse about matters of the Jurisdiction, worship, and fellowship together.
