Extension Ministry Reporting

The ministry of clergy in The United Methodist Church begins with their calling to serve as preachers, teachers, and connectors of the Church to the world. Our clergy may serve in the context of local church or they may have a calling to a ministry beyond the local church to serve a more specific ministry or missional need. Those serving in Extension Ministry serve in variety of roles to help do the administration and ministry of the Church in regional or global areas, as well as to better help the Church relate to and serve the world.

Each year those persons serving beyond the local church are required to submit a ministry report to bishop and cabinet to ensure that we are able to resource them and their needs, as well as partner with them and the places in which they serve.
