As Superintendent of the District, I am calling on United Methodist Christians in the North District to gather with me to learn how we can put our beliefs into practice when it comes to being all in against racism. On March 23, we will be led by our very own Rev. Annettra Jones Stephens, the Indiana Conference Associate Director of Diversity, Mission, and Justice Ministries, to do just that. The North District Ops Team has planned a free day of teaching and worship for clergy and laity. These are planned to be in person events at this time, however, we will continue to monitor Covid and follow proper protocols, as necessary. You will find the details below.
I am asking that you make this a priority and that you encourage your laity to do the same. This matters. Please join me in making the promise of Galatians 3 a reality in our time.
Blessings,
Marti
