BETTIE MAE BRAME of Hephzibah, Ga., mother of the Rev. James C. Anyike, pastor of Scott United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2 at the G.L. Brigtharp Mortuary, 614 West Avenue, North Augusta, S.C. A Homecoming Service will be held from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Transformation United Methodist Church, 2428 Tobacco Road in Hephzibah with interment to follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. A special memorial service will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (CT) Saturday, Nov. 10 at Oakdale Covenant Church, 9400 South Vincennes Avenue in Chicago, Ill. Survivors include: her children, Kwame (Odessa) Brahme, Maurice Brame, Philip (Debbie) Brame, Carolyn Bates, James (Valerie) Anyika , Dorothy Lloyd and Kenneth (Wanda) Brame; sisters, Josephine (Wilbur) McAlister, Dorothy Hutcherson; brothers, McKinley (Connie) Robertson, Archie Robertson and Frank Robertson; God-daughter, Debbie Fields; 24 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
