BEVERLY ‘JOAN’ HATHAWAY, 78, of Goshen, widow of the late Rev. Lewis A. Hathaway, an Elder in the Indiana Conference, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Garrett, Ind. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and active in missions. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 28 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 South Main Street in Goshen. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 29 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 502 North Main Street, in Goshen. The Rev. Michael Tarner will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Survivors include: two daughters, Teresa Wilhelm of Garrett and Trinda Copeland of Cedar Lake; a son, Jim Hathaway of Muncie, 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Rev. Lewis A. Hathaway; a son, Max Hathaway and a grandson, Ira.
