BRUCE WAYNE KENLINE of Bluffton, Ind., 89, a retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at River Terrace Estates. A memorial service was held Monday, Nov. 21, at the Thoma/Rich, Chaney and Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton with burial in Markle Cemetery. Survivors include: sons, Greg Kenline (wife Rhonda) of Albion, Kim Kenline (wife Janice) of Ossian, Scott Kenline (wife Phyllis) of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mabel (Nave) Kenline and by a great-grandson, Xander E. Powers. From 1970 to 1987, he was pastor of United Methodist churches in Tocsin, Selma and Greentown. He retired from Greentown UMC in 1987. From 1987 to 1994, he served as a missionary with Chinese Overseas Christian Ministry (COCM). During that time, he taught Bible education in Russia.
