JOHN CALVIN LOUTHAIN of Warsaw, Ind., 88, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court in Warsaw, and one hour prior to the service at the church. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 306 East Main Street in Atwood with Pastor Dale Linhart officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Oakwood Cemetery at Warsaw. Survivors include: his wife of 55 years, Blanche (Burwell) Louthain ofWarsaw; his daughter, Hilda (and spouse, David) Fyock of Nampa, Idaho; two sons, Charles (and spouse, Karen) Louthain of Warsaw and Marvin Louthain of Sunbury, Ohio; three grandsons, Micah and Sean Fyock of Nampa, Idaho, and Zachary Beck of Warsaw. He served churches in Indiana at Middlebury, Richland Chapel, Kempton, Farmland/Hopewell, Pennville/Blackford, Fulton/Fletchers Lake, Marion New Hope and Elkhart Grace, retiring in 1989.
