William Curtis Moody, 80, retired minister of the Indiana Conference, died on Friday, April 2, 2010. Visitation will be Monday, April 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Betts & West Funeral Home, 404 North Main Street in Nicholasville, KY 40356. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6 at the Nicholasville United Methodist Church, 303 West Maple Street in Nicholasville (20 miles south of Lexington), with the Revs. Mike Snyder and Bill Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: his wife of 62 years, Anne Helphinstine Moody; two sons, William C. Moody of Owingsville and Robert Tipton of Wilmore; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be given to the Manna Ministry of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church.
