CLYDE DAHLAN WAKE of Loogootee, Ind., 87, a retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Friday, July 19, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23 from 3 to 8 p.m. CDT at Loogootee United Methodist Church, 208 West Main Street in Loogootee and Wednesday, July 24 from 10 a.m. CDT until the service at the church. A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 24 at 11 a.m. CDT at Loogootee United Methodist Church, with burial following at the Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee. Survivors include daughter, Cathie L. (Gerald) Jones of Jasper, Ind.; son, Robert D. (Mary Wake) of Washington, Ind.; stepson, Mark Eichmiller of Corydon, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Sue Flinn of New Albany, Ind. and Elaine Watham of Loogootee, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by this first wife, Edna (Gibson) Wake and his second wife, Laverne (Greene) (Eichmiller) Wake. He served churches in Indiana at Walnut Grove, Glendale, Pittsboro, Stockwell Parish, Hammond Hyde Park; Taylor Chapel, Walkerton, Sullivan, Princeton First, Greenwood and in retirement Washington Wesley.
