WARREN DAVID WALMER of Winona Lake, Ind., 87, a retired Local Pastor of the Indiana Conference, died Saturday, May 31, 2014. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, at the Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road in Warsaw, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5, at the funeral home with Pastor Gale Janofski officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. the same day at the LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery in LaFontaine, Ind. Survivors include: his wife, Josephine of Winona Lake; three children, James (Carolyn), Robert (Becky) and Sharon (Timothy Wilson) all of Warsaw; ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. After retiring from his plumbing and heating business, Walmer served these United Methodist churches in Indiana: Mt. Pleasant, Independence, Independence Riverview, Bunker Hill, Sumption Prairie, Santa Anna/Poplar Grove, Marshall Co. and Culver Poplar Grove.
