Blue Christmas Service
Sunday, December 16 at 6:00 pm ET
at Logansport First UMC
Like many of you, my heart has been heavy for the tragic loss of life in Cass County in the past two months. First UMC has a tradition of doing a “Blue Christmas Service” as a way to minister to those who are hurting during the holidays. This is a prayer service that focuses on the hope we have in Christ Jesus.
This service is for people who are feeling “blue” for any reason including things like the death of a loved one, physical or mental illness, a broken relationship, divorce/child custody, job loss. The service would also bless those who struggle with loneliness or seasonal affect disorder (SAD).
This year Rev. Colleen Hardin of Main Street UMC will help me lead the service. It will take place at First UMC on Sunday, December 16th at 6 pm.
If your church is not offering a similar worship experience would you please share this event with those in your congregation who would be blessed by it?

Blessings and peace,
