Clergy Orders

Our Indiana Conference celebrates the ministry of our clergy serving as Local Pastors, Deacons, and Elders. We are committed to the continuing spiritual growth, connectional health and professional development of all who serve as clergy in our conference.

Through the Fellowship of Local Pastors and Associate Members,  the Order of Deacons, and the Order of Elders, we seek to create a covenant community within the church to mutually support, care for, and hold accountable our members for the sake of the life and mission of the Church. (Book of Discipline: paragraph 306)

Our work includes but is not limited to:

• Providing regular gatherings for continuing formation in relationship to Christ
• Working with individuals to assist in planning individual study and retreats
• Building relationships between colleagues at every level of the church
• Holding one another accountable to the highest standards for the work to which we are called
