Dave Nuckols, a lay person of Minnetonka, Minn. and member of the United Methodist Bishop’s Commission on A Way Forward, will be the keynote speaker at the Reconciling Ministries Network of Indiana Dinner during the Indiana Annual Conference Session, Friday, June 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. Reservations must be made by Friday, May 19. (See instructions below.)
Nuckols wears many hats in The United Methodist Church. He serves as the current Lay Leader of the Minnetonka UMC, a reconciling congregation that is the fastest growing United Methodist congregation in Minnesota. Other roles include: Co-Lay Leader of the Minnesota Annual Conference, North Central Jurisdictional Delegate in 2012 and 2016, and Treasurer of the UMC’s global Connectional Table. He also led Minnetonka’s Reconciling Ministries process in 2010, joined the Parents Reconciling Ministries Network Steering Committee in 2012 and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the national Reconciling Ministries Network since 2014. Dave and his wife, Karin, have two 20-something daughters who also are engaged in social justice activities.
