The sixth-annual dinner for pastors, lay missioners, and friends of Hispanic and Latino ministries provided a time of fellowship and sharing. Emily Reece, Director of Church Development, and Sergio Reyes, Associate Director of Church Development, welcomed attendees from near and far to the gathering. Sergio Reyes opened with a heartfelt prayer. Emily Reece invited attendees to introduce themselves and where they are serving. Much laughter and joy was shared both in Spanish, English and occasionally a creative combination of the two languages.
Sergio Reyes shared a powerful talk about the importance of having a passion for God and serving people in local Hispanic communities. He then invited the pastors in attendance to share a testimony of their various ministries. Stories and testimonies were shared about community impact and the importance of sowing seeds in the hearts of those in the Hispanic community.
