INDIANAPOLIS – Allison Curts, who has served as an Associate Director of Mission + Justice for the Indiana Conference, announced her intention to depart, effective Friday, October 5, 2018; from her professional ministry duties after prayerful consideration to focus on more time with her husband, Peter, and their son, Theo.
In a note to the ministry teams that she has worked alongside she stated, “though this ministry is incredibly important to me, I have decided to make my son and family, as well as my local church and community a priority for this season of life.”
“Serving as a member of the Conference staff throughout the past few years has been a joy, and many moments have enriched me personally, professionally, and most importantly spiritually. I am so thankful to all of you for being teammates who helped nurture and encourage me and my call in ministry,” she continued.
In light of this development, Dr. Cindy Reynolds, Executive Assistant to the Bishop and Director of Connectional Ministries, stated “Allison’s service to the Conference has helped us make better connections to the mission field. She has served faithfully and supported the work of our teams very well. We wish her the best.”
Reynolds also announced that Curts will work with the Rev. Tom Heaton, Associate Director of Mission + Justice, to transition current projects as he will support the entire Mission + Justice portfolio until the announcement of different arrangements.
