The Indiana Conference is pleased to announce two upcoming staff changes. Michele Phillips, Administrative Assistant for Local Pastor Education, will transition into a new role as the full-time Administrator of Ministerial Services and Luska Natali will join the Conference staff as Conference Assistant Assigned to Leadership Development.
Phillips who begins her role on Monday, November 4, 2019, will work alongside Rev. Shannon Stringer and the Leadership Development team. Phillips will succeed Ed Metzler who announced his retirement after having served in that role since 2015. Phillips steps into this role with a deep understanding of its work and well-established relationships based upon her prior part-time role as Administrative Assistant of Local Pastor Education. For the last six years, she also served St. Joseph UMC in Fort Wayne as Director of Operations.
Luska Natali will join the Conference staff as Conference Assistant assigned to Leadership Development on Monday, October 21, 2019. Natali will follow Darlene White, who currently holds this role and will transition to serve as the Administrative Assistant to the Bishop up the retirement of Erma Metzler who served the Indiana Conference for more than 20 years. Natali comes to us from The Wesleyan Church with a broad set of skills in administrative services and event planning. Natali will share her talents and experiences Leadership Development, as well as serve on the Administrative Services team supervised by Ruth Ellen Needler.
